'Lunatics Are Taking Over The Asylum' In The Democrat Party, JFK Would Not Be Allowed! - Gorka
It seems like every day we hear of another looney-tunes liberal outburst from somewhere in the Washington, D.C. complex.
Representative-elect Ms. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez can't even correctly name the three branches of the government, yet she's basically declared war on the Democrats who she considers "too conservative", led a climate-change protest in senior Senator Nancy Pelosi's office, and Senator Kamala Harris wants sweeping gun control expansion, To borrow a phrase from David Harris Jr. "what have they been SMOKIN'????"

Citing radical progressives like democratic socialist Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., former Trump White House aide Sebastian Gorka said President John F. Kennedy, long a standard-bearer of the Democratic Party, wouldn’t be welcome in the party today.
Gorka made the assertion during an interview on “The Answer,” aired Sunday on AM 970 in New York, saying Kennedy was a “hardcore, pro-national security politician.”
“Today, a hardcore, pro-national security politician like John F. Kennedy would not be allowed in the Democratic Party. That’s how bad it is,” he said.
Calling a spade a spade, or a loony a loony, Gorka noted that at least former President Bill Clinton would have controlled the fringe elements.
“The lunatics are taking over the asylum … I’m not a fan of Bill Clinton, but Bill Clinton and his ilk would at least rein in the loonies,” he said.
“When you’ve got [Sen.] Kamala Harris comparing DHS and ICE to the KKK, which is absolutely disgusting … When you’ve got Ocasio-Cortez, who’s publicly calling for a socialist revolution … you understand that the Democratic Party has been taken over by radicals.”
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who is expected to reclaim the speaker’s gavel now that Democrats have the majority in the House, found out right away that she is up against a different breed when Ocasio-Cortez spent her first day in Washington, D.C., participating in a climate change protest IN Pelosi’s office.
Host John Catsimatidis concluded that it will be up to the American people to decide who we are as a nation.
The state of today’s Democratic Party has been a long time in the making, with Nov. 2008 and the election of Barack Obama as president is a turning point.
Emboldened by the win, progressives came out of the shadows and boldly declared their arrival on the political scene. Aided by a complicit media working overtime to mainstream their radical views, the hard left was off and running.
The irony is that like JFK, Obama would soon prove to be too moderate for the hardcore base that made up the base of Bernie’s army.

It's a pretty sad thing to see how have deteriorated in the Democrat party. I was too young to understand the sinister implications of John Kennedy's assassination, but I definitely remember being absolutely floored the day he was murdered, because in those days, once a man was in the Oval Office, he received respect and admiration regardless of his party.
In retrospect, I sometimes wish I had been more of a Kennedy supporter, but that was long before I understood the kind of man he was and how much of a positive impact his policies and attitudes would have made on the country had he lived. The far-left nature of the Democrat party today would be as bad or worse than a foreign country to him were he still alive today.
