Watch: GMA Tries To Drum Up Outrage Over Rule-Breaking Dems- Demands Free Pass
I think it's fair to say that the media has long-since lost its credibility with Americans to provide non-partisan reporting. Good Morning America's Easter Sunday broadcast was just another example of the liberal media's blatant hypocrisy.
GMA tried to hype so-called "growing community outrage" over the two insurrectionist Democratic Tennessee state representatives who were expelled for whipping up a mob on the House floor. But instead of actually airing any opposition from Republicans, all GMA wanted to do was parrot the Democrat Party line. The only soundbite played was a brief clip of Tennessee Republican House Speaker Cameron Sexton from his interview on Fox News Channel's morning show Fox & Friends.
Weekend co-anchor Janai Norman tried to make it seem as if voters were outraged at the Republican led expulsion of two black lawmakers from the state House of Representatives. Correspondent Faith Abubey then went on to proclaim that while "Justin Pearson and Justin Jones may no longer be state lawmakers here in Tennessee," Jones told her "he's still representing his constituents in exile."
Abubey continued to push the Democrats' agenda by claiming there was "growing community outrage over the expulsion of two Democrats." Of course, the only soundbites that were used were from four Democrat voters or supporters of Jones & Pearson, a soundbite from Jones himself, and the Democrat Vice Mayor of Nashville Jim Shulman who told ABC that he had received a lot of calls and emails in support of Jones & Pearson.
And the only soundbite from the Republican side was a measly two full sentences long. This blatant bias is what makes the liberal media so damn annoying. It's like they're so desperate to push their agenda that they'll do anything to make it happen, even if it means silencing anyone who disagrees with them.
It's time for the liberal media to stop ignoring the truth and start reporting it. We need to hold them accountable for their biased reporting and call them out when they fail to report the facts. Otherwise, they'll just continue to push their own narrative and leave the truth behind.
