Video Of Incident At Connecticut Coffee Shop Prompts Calls For Police Investigaton
In West Hartford, Connecticut, what should have been an uneventful morning coffee turned into yet another ugly display of the so-called “tolerance” of the Left. Two Republican men — simply sitting down, talking politics, and showing support for President Trump — were targeted by a liberal agitator whose behavior is now making the rounds online.
Unhinged leftist in West Hartford, Connecticut, HARASSES and SPITS on two conservatives for the crime of drinking a coffee in public.
So much for being the party of "inclusion"pic.twitter.com/FBCFFMT7OZ

The video (language warning) shows the aggressor approaching, shouting profanities, and spewing wild accusations. And then the moment that says it all: he spits at them. Not on them, technically, but at them — a disgusting, demeaning act that embodies the very intolerance the Left accuses others of.
Claims he gets threats by "people like them," whatever that means.
Proceeds to spit on them...
I have a feeling that if you were worried about threats, you wouldn't go around spitting on random strangers while they're filming.

What’s striking is not the hostility of the attacker — sadly, that’s nothing new — but the calm dignity of the two men on the receiving end. They don’t shout back. They don’t rise to the bait. They simply sit, respond politely, and refuse to sink to the level of the man berating them. Even when they go out of their way to condemn threats of violence (which the agitator claims to have faced), he won’t listen. He’s not there for dialogue. He’s there for intimidation.
They handled that really well. Very polite, much more than I would have been.

And here’s where the story cuts deeper. According to the West Hartford Republicans, one of the men, Ari, was wearing a kippah (yarmulke) at the time. Which raises an even darker undertone: was the spit not just about politics, but also religion? The group argues that this is what happens after decades of one-party Democrat rule — a culture of ideological bullying where dissent is demonized, faith is mocked, and “tolerance” means agreeing with the mob or being cast out.
This is what Republicans have to endure in the "tolerant" and "inclusive" town of West Hartford, CT. Kudos to campaign manager Ari and town council candidate Ben Lewis for handling the situation as best anyone could. @WestHartfordPD should investigate immediately since the man… pic.twitter.com/irGNOBEd9H

The irony is thick. We’re constantly told that conservatives are the “threat to democracy,” that Trump supporters are violent, hateful, and dangerous. Yet here we see the reality: two Republicans, calmly sipping coffee, treated with contempt and spit by someone who claims the moral high ground.
This isn’t protest. This isn’t debate. This is intimidation dressed up as virtue.
So who’s the real threat to democracy? The men calmly defending their right to support the candidate of their choice? Or the spitting activist, blinded by rage and convinced that anyone wearing a red hat — or, in this case, a yarmulke — deserves public humiliation?
