Trump Unloads Massive Plan: 35 Campaign Stops To Save GOP

President Trump promised to hit the trail for Republicans. He said he would work non-stop for the final month. That was the plan. Then he laid out the exact number of races he will target.

On Wednesday, the President spoke at a White House Rose Garden dinner. He told lawmakers he is "going to take the final 30 days, maybe a little bit more than that, because it's all about 35 races", according to the Daily Wire.

He made this pledge to a room full of Republican candidates. The group included Vice President JD Vance and several cabinet members.

Trump is not wasting time on safe seats. He asked the lawmakers to "give me some names where, I say, is either tied, or you're winning by a little bit, or you're losing by a little bit", according to the New York Post.

He told those leading by huge margins to stay home. He indicated that candidates with long-standing leads should not request his visit.

But he promised to help those who are struggling.

He specifically named two races he will visit. He said, "I'm going to go up to Alaska for Dan Sullivan", according to NBC News. He also pledged to travel to Texas to stump for Attorney General Ken Paxton.

Trump compared this push to his last presidential campaign. He stated that he will undertake an action similar to what he did for himself during the last presidential election.

He plans to hit the road hard. He also teased "tele-townhalls," as many as 10-per-night.

Some lawmakers hoped he would open his personal war chest. They told POLITICO they wanted him to back their races with his more than $403 million fund.

Trump did not make a cash promise, but he offered his time. He said he will still fight for the party.

The event happened just one week before the Republican National Convention in Dallas. The President wants to keep the House and Senate. He said, "I'm going to go to every one of those 35 places, and we're going to see if we can get everyone elected".

He is focusing on the final month of the race.

He closed with a sharp message: "We'll defeat the Democrat communists, and that's what they are".
