Mother Charged After Senseless Brawl Causes Death Of Her 3-Month-Old [Video]
A Moultrie Georgia mother has been charged with a list of crimes after the death of her 3-month old son who was injured during a fight between the mother and another woman. Police say they are baffled as to why two adults would fight in public, much less with a small baby in their arms.
What's more shocking is how long it took the small boy's mother to get her son medical attention.
According to WTXL, It all happened at Thomas Beauty Supply in Moultrie, Ga. An employee showed us surveillance footage of exactly what happened. We do have to warn you, the video may be disturbing to some of you.
In the white shirt, Karen Harrison, 26, is holding her baby. She is then hit by another woman who is standing beside the car.
It happens so quickly, but suddenly the baby is no longer in her hands. People nearby run in to pick the baby up while others try to break up the fight. As the baby lay dangerously at their feet before a third woman rushes up to pick up the little angel.
Police say when Harrison took the baby to the hospital the next day she said the baby was injured at home when he fell from family friend Carneata Clark's arms, which they later found out was not the case. Clark corroborated the story. She's charged with false statements and obstruction of an officer.

“Everyone has been identified, but the second suspect has not been charged,” Deputy Chief David Corona of the Moultrie Police Department said in a statement.
