Behar Slammed Voters For Not Delivering A Super-Majority To Democrats- Seriously
Democrats that have won have mostly done so by small margins. It was a dogfight of a race with candidates barely pulling through with 51% of their states' votes. As it is, runoff elections are already planned. The gals on 'The View' were counting their blessings—Not because Democrats did so well, but because they weren't destroyed at the polls.
Everyone except host Joy Behar appeared livid that voters didn't vote for more radical Democrats and hand a super-majority to the Biden administration.
"On the one had you have a party that tried to save health care, that tries to save your right to vote, that tries to preserve a woman's right, that tries to save a planet, and we still don't have a supermajority? Still, half of this country is not paying attention to their own needs," Behar said.
Co-host Sunny Hostin praised President Biden again on Thursday for not talking about crime, inflation and immigration while on the campaign trail because they were "Republican talking points." She cheered young-voter turnout and dismissed criticism of Biden for not talking about economic issues, crime or the southern border in the lead-up to the election.
"Those are Republican talking points. He had his finger on the pulse of what the everyday American needed, and he explained that our democracy was at stake and if you look at the exit polls, the two biggest issues — number one, saving our democracy and number two, women's health care rights," Hostin said.
Democrats are barely pulling out of the races with their seats. Even Republican lawmakers have narrowly skimmed by with major wins. The election was a dogfight nationwide and pretending that either side was overwhelmingly victorious at this point is just a joke. I think both parties were disappointed with the only difference being that the Democrats anticipated losing big.
