Biden Ditches His 'Rescue Dog' For A Brand New Puppy—PETA Snaps Back
The family claims that Major was given to friends because he couldn't handle the hectic life of being the Biden's first dog or some garbage like that.
"After consulting with dog trainers, animal behaviorists, and veterinarians, the First Family has decided to follow the experts' collective recommendation that it would be safest for Major to live in a quieter environment with family friends," LaRosa said. "This is not in reaction to any new or specific incident, but rather a decision reached after several months of deliberation as a family and discussions with experts."
The media also ignored it when Joe Biden took to Twitter to show off his new purebred German Sheperd puppy 'Commander'. I guess now that Major is out of the way, they have time to raise a puppy?

Major made headlines after he snapped at some of the people at the White House. The family, then, shipped Major back to the Biden family home 'for his own good'.
While the media may have ignore the Biden's callous treatment of major and purchase of a bred puppy, the folks at PETA took note:
"This seems deeply disappointing @POTUS. You know it's important to adopt homeless animals like Major. Paying a breeder to add to overpopulation is irresponsible & killer. We wish Commander a great life, but the nearly 200 adoptable Shepherds within 100mi of D.C. deserve one too."

I guess Major served his purpose, getting the Biden's a little heartfelt publicity. Now that his services are no longer needed, the Biden's traded him out for a 'better dog'.
I always say you have to pay attention to how people treat animals. It says a lot about their true character.
