Biden Forced To Eat Crow When Video Surfaces Of Him Referencing 'Lynching' in 1998 [Watch]
Joe Biden must be kicking himself tonight. The burnt-out politician made a massive misstep by trying to take something Trump said and making it into a political war hammer.
Trump tweeted: “So some day, if a Democrat becomes President and the Republicans win the House, even by a tiny margin, they can impeach the President, without due process or fairness or any legal rights. All Republicans must remember what they are witnessing here – a lynching. But we will WIN!”
Joe Biden couldn't help himself. Just at the very sight of the words 'lynching', Biden used the tweet to twist the President's words and call him 'despicable':
Biden: "Impeachment is not "lynching," it is part of our Constitution. Our country has a dark, shameful history with lynching, and to even think about making this comparison is abhorrent. It's despicable."
Biden wasn't alone in trying to paint the President as a racist. CNN joined the call saying, “The term ‘lynching’ is associated with the extrajudicial killings of African Americans, particularly in the late 19th and early 20th century when it was used to terrorize black Americans and to maintain white political supremacy."

Biden referring to Bill Clinton's impeachment as 'partisan lynching'? Yeah, shut it Joe. What makes this particularly enjoyable is that, much like much of ole Joe's 'oops' moments, this too was caught on film.
Joe Biden on CNN in 1998: "Even if the President should be impeached, history is going to question whether or not this was just a partisan lynching or whether or not it was something that in fact met the standard, the very high bar, that was set by the founders as to what constituted an impeachable offense."
