Biden Slammed By Police Union Leader After He Attacked The Blue- Again
As the nation's leader, President Biden's actions — or lack thereof — on police matters have been nothing short of alarming. From his seemingly condescending rhetoric towards law enforcement officers to his failure to issue a statement condemning violence against them, Biden's actions have been confusing at best and downright dangerous at worst.
It's no wonder, then, that the police union leader recently tore into the President, criticizing his poisonous rhetoric as "not helpful" and a major impediment to building trust with the community.
Joe Biden recently caused a stir by seeming to imply that police officers always shoot with deadly force. But Fraternal Order of Police National Vice President Joe Gamaldi isn’t buying it. He recently criticized the President’s comments on the John Solomon Reports podcast, saying that the inflammatory rhetoric “is not helpful” and “erodes the trust that we’re trying to build with our communities when you make comments like that.”
This is not the sort of thing we should expect from our Commander-in-Chief—nor should we accept it. It's not difficult to see why the police are so outraged. They put themselves in danger every day to protect society and yet, Biden has yet to condemn violence against them — even as police murders in the U.S. increased by 59% in April 2022. It is not too much to ask for the President to at least make a statement saying that it is wrong to shoot a police officer or assault a police officer.
It's time for Biden to take a step back and reconsider his words and actions. He needs to start by supporting law enforcement and condemning violence. Anything less is a disservice to the brave men and women who risk their lives to keep our communities safe.
Unfortunately, Biden's current approach is unlikely to bring about the meaningful change we need. His words and actions have been divisive, and they have done nothing to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

It is time for Biden to start leading, rather than just talking. It is time for him to show true solidarity with the police and to stand up against violence against them. It is time for him to take a stand and prove that he is truly the leader we need. Anything less is simply unacceptable.
