Big Time Liberal DEFENDS Trump After Sick Hashtag Trends On Twitter
On Thursday morning, the hashtag “#TrumpFail” was trending on Twitter in response to President Trump’s summit in Vietnam with Chairman Kim Jong Un.
The President decided to walk away, which is one of his many negotiating techniques outlined in his book “The Art of the Deal,” because he wasn’t satisfied with what North Korea was offering.
In response to no deal being made, liberals all over Twitter began celebrating at the fact that Trump was unable to make a deal with North Korea and started the hashtag “#TrumpFail” which immediately started trending.
One of President Trump’s most vocal critics on Twitter Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) who is known for opposing almost everything Trump says or proposes, actually came to the President’s defense.
You’re not going to believe what he said. Check out his tweet below:
The hashtag #TrumpFail is trending and I find it inappropriate. People should not be hoping the President fails or taking pleasure in his failure on the global stage. Whether you like @realDonaldTrump or not, he represents America in foreign affairs. We want America to succeed.

“The hashtag #TrumpFail is trending and I find it inappropriate,” Lieu tweeted. “People should not be hoping the President fails or taking pleasure in his failure on the global stage. Whether you like [Trump] or not, he represents America in foreign affairs.
“We want America to succeed.”
It’s hard to believe that any American would want their President to fail. After all, if he fails, we fail. That wasn’t the case here, however. Trump backed out because North Korea did not hold up their end of the bargain:
Trump and Kim ended their second meeting early on Thursday morning without reaching an agreement on denuclearization., The Hill reported.
The president said in a press conference that the two leaders failed to reach a deal due to Kim’s demand for the U.S. to lift all sanctions on North Korea in exchange for denuclearization.
“We couldn’t do that,” Trump said. “They were willing to denuke a large portion of the areas we wanted, but we couldn’t give up all of the sanctions for that.”
“Sometimes you have to walk,” Trump added. “This was one of those times.”
