CNN Drops The Ball During Kamala Harris Exclusive- They're A JOKE!
This just goes to show that CNN is such a joke. With undercover reports revealing the network happily use propaganda to sway voters' opinions, you would think the news agency would at least try to appear as though they're doing their job. For instance, and reporter with half of a brain would have been all over the Kamala Harris- border evasion controversy- but not CNN!
Instead of asking the question everyone wants to know, CNN slobbered all over Harris. Calling their border questions 'softballs'
would be an insult to softballs everywhere.
Most people want to know why Harris hasn't visited the southern border or any of the facilities- CNN wants to know how she's able to do such a great job...
Cnn Dana Bash asked, "As the nation waited to hear from the Chauvin jury, I spoke exclusively with Vice-president Kamala Harris about her history-making role, the weight of the responsibility that brings, and how and when President Biden seeks her advice."
When asked about the death of George Floyd, Harris weirdly smiles as she notes, "9 minutes and 29 seconds, right? We all watched that video." Referring to the length of the police footage that showed Floyd struggling to breathe.
Bash went on to gush over Harris for being a person of color and in the White House before finally asking about immigration.
This was her pathetic excuse for a question, "President Biden tasked you with leading diplomatic efforts to work with Mexico and the Northern Triangle countries. To address the root causes of migration. How do you define success in this role?"
Harris responded as she always does. Awkwardly and with a big fat word salad, "The kind of work that has to happen is the diplomatic work that we have been engaged in including my calls to the President of Mexico, the President of Guatemala, and we have a plan to actually have another meeting coming up soon."
"Are you going to go there?" Bash politely asked.
Harris replied, "Yes, we're working on the plan to get there. We have to deal with Covid issues. But I can't get there soon enough in terms of personally getting there."
Really Harris? She can make it all over the country. Even fly just a few hundred miles from the southern border in southern California- but finds it hard to get to the border?
Harris then deflects, "Part of the problem is that under the previous administration, they pulled out, essentially, a lot of what had been the continuum of work, and it essentially came to a standstill."
Bash gives the administration credit for rebuilding what the previous president presumably 'broke'. In reality, the borders were more secure and more organized during the Trump administration.
Then the two blame Biden. Bash explained for Harris- I guess she forgot the narrative, "President Biden always said that he wants you to be the last person in the room, particularly for big decisions, just as he was for President Obama."
"...Yeah." Harris agreed.
That was pretty much it. Bash moved on to ask Harris how the first 100 days shocked her. To which Harris replied, "We are going to lift half of America's children out of poverty, Dana. How about that? How about that? Think about that. I can't tell you [chuckles], maybe it's obvious, how much that means. What that will mean. That's good stuff! That's really good stuff."
Meanwhile, the administration is spending taxpayers' money 'hand-over-foot', which will inevitably leave our children in debt for generations to come. Good stuff- right?
