CNN Freaks Out Over Supreme Court's 'End-Run Around Roe'
OMG, the outrage over individual state's rights is unbelievable. We have actors claiming that we will all soon be living in the fictional book 'The Handmaid's Tale' where un-wed women are forced into surrogacy. Even the news media has exploded with the claims that Roe Vs Wade has been overturned and of course they're turning it into a class/race issue with CNN scab host Kaitlan Collins claiming the Texas law "predominantly affect[s] lower-income women."
This was all because the Supreme Court upheld Texas' decision to cut off abortions after 6 weeks. Essentially mirroring Georgia's 'Heartbeat Bill'.
Guest Irin Carmon screeched, "Kaitlan, this is Donald Trump’s legacy: Roe v. Wade is dead!"
She was responding to host Laura Jarrett's who accused Texas of doing a 'end-run around' Roe:
"The Court says, we essentially, we don't have any game here, because it isn't a federal official who's actually the one in charge of enforcing it, it's these private plaintiffs, Jarrett said. "We don't have anything to pick up here. So essentially, the Court is saying you can come back another day, but for now, this law stands. Which is essentially incredible, doing an end-run around Roe in less than a page."
The two blamed Trump appointee Justice Brett Kavanaugh which has now become a liberal talking point on why 'court packing' is so important to them.

The Supreme Court did not actually overturn Roe v. Wade. By rejecting the procedural challenge to Texas' law, it effectively allowed the state to at least temporarily bypass Roe's limits on abortion bans. The law prevents abortions after a heartbeat can be detected – often considered to take place at five to six weeks of gestational age.
“Before this country turns into a real version of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ let’s all get together and stop what’s going on in Texas. Keep abortions safe and legal,” actor, comic and former talk-show host Rosie O’Donnell said in a TikTok video.
Democrats are reiterating their calls to pack the Supreme Court, demanding action after the court declined to halt Texas' controversial abortion law on Wednesday.
"Republicans promised to overturn Roe v Wade, and they have," tweeted Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.
"Democrats can either abolish the filibuster and expand the court, or do nothing as millions of peoples’ bodies, rights, and lives are sacrificed for far-right minority rule. This shouldn’t be a difficult decision," AOC wrote.
