Comedian Rob Schneider Rips Into 'Emperor Gavin Newsom’ Over INSANE Lockdown Measures
My God, it's nice to see that not everyone in Hollywood just accepts California's intensely invasive pandemic measures. As it turns out, comedian Rob Schneider isn't just against the new restrictions but he's not a fan of California Governor Gavin Newsom. The comedian made that perfectly clear in a series of posts on Twitter.
The Dem governor recently announced a new set of restrictions ahead of the holidays. In that announcement, Newsom declared that no more than three household members can attend a gathering adding that it must be outdoors, in masks, while socially distancing. If that wasn't restrictive enough, Newsom added that members can only gather for two hours and excessive laughing and singing is 'strongly discouraged'.
I guess that it is Newsom's belief that the virus will be stronger during the holidays?
Schneider flipped his lid.
“Dear Emperor @GavinNewsom,” the former “Saturday Night Live” actor wrote Saturday on Twitter. “During our allotted 3 family limit this Thanksgiving, if my Aunt comes over, can I throw her a slice of turkey from the window? We promise NOT to sing… we will all just whisper, ‘PLEASE RECALL DIPS*** GAVIN NEWSON!’”

Schneider's slam came just a few days after another tweet where the comedian took aim at the Democrat again after he ordered wineries closed in across 19 different counties. Oddly enough, Newsom owns a winery that was allowed to remain open.
“Enjoy @GavinNewsom 2020 Vintage Wine! A Smokey ash flavored Cab with hints of incompetence & authoritarian overstepping. Who needs science? Just Lock yourself down & go bankrupt with this morally corrupt table wine with it’s bouquet of one man dictatorial rule & 16.8% tax,” Schneider wrote.

US News Published Newsom's insanely tyrannical demands:
“We are entering into the holidays, but also we’re entering into part of the year where things cool down and people are more likely to congregate back indoors in settings that put their physical proximity and likelihood of transmission and transmitting disease at higher risk,” Newson said.
Even the less restrictive guidelines advise that it's best to stick to the same three households over time.
“Participating in multiple gatherings with different households or groups is strongly discouraged,” the department said in the guidance released late Friday.
People can gather under awnings, roofs or shade structures so long as at least three sides are open to outdoor breezes. Gatherings should be two hours or less to reduce the risk of transmission.
Guests who aren't from the same household must socially distance and food should not be shared. Masks should be worn except when people are eating or drinking. Singing, chanting and shouting “are strongly discouraged” because those activities increase the release of respiratory droplets and fine aerosols. Hand sanitizer or a place to wash hands must be available."
If these so-called 'guidelines' aren't an overreach of authority, I don't know what is. Oh, and if you are thinking about attending a family gathering in California and you happen to be over the age of 55 or suffering from an immune-compromising disease- think again. The guidelines specifically state you should not attend.
