Comer Releases More Hunter Docs After Hearing
Republican lawmakers have released a highly-anticipated FBI document that reveals seemingly damning details about a bribery scheme between Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and an oil executive in Ukraine.
Acquired by DailyMail.com, the FBI FD-1023 form alleges that, in 2015, Burisma Holdings oil executive Mykola Zlochevsky paid Joe and Hunter Biden $10 million in exchange for Joe Biden's influence in firing a Ukrainian prosecutor who had a probe open into the company.
Zlochevsky told a Confidential Human Source (CHS) that it 'costs' $5 million to pay each Biden, as Hunter was hired onto the company's board to 'protect us, through his dad, from all kinds of problems.'
One of the payments was allegedly sent to a bank account in Latvia, setting off a series of transfers to a law firm that Hunter was affiliated with.
According to the document, the source asked why Burisma didn't just 'pay some attorney $50,000' to fight the criminal investigation in Ukraine, to which Zlochevsky replied that 'Hunter will take care of all of those issues through his dad.'
When asked how he would 'explain suspicious wire transfers' that could indicate 'illicit payments to the Bidens', he responded that he 'did not send any funds directly to the "Big Guy" (which CHS understood was a reference to Joe Biden).
He added that it would take '10 years to find the records (ie. illicit payments to Joe Biden).'
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, obtained and released the document, and said in a statement: 'For the better part of a year, I've been pushing the Justice Department and FBI to provide details on its handling of very significant allegations from a trusted FBI informant implicating then-Vice President Biden in a criminal bribery scheme'.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., also commented on the issue, saying that the FBI's memo 'tracks closely with the evidence uncovered by the Oversight Committee's Biden family influence peddling investigation'.
The Republicans plan to continue investigating the Biden family's business Scheme, much to the displeasure of Democrats.
Joe Biden has previously denied any knowledge of Hunter's involvement with Burisma, claiming that he was 'never involved in any of his [Hunter's] business decisions.'
However, the FD-1023 document casts serious doubt on such a statement, proving Hunter Biden's alleged clout through his father's influence.
The evidence is still disputed, however, and these allegations are yet to be proven. It is also unlikely that a criminal investigation against the Biden family will be launched prior to the election on November 3rd.
Republicans and Democrats alike will be eagerly awaiting the outcome of the investigations, as the truth behind the Biden-Ukraine bribery central to the 2020 Presidential Election still remains to be seen.
