CNN is likely to be hit with a massive lawsuit worth more than $250 million over alleged “vicious” and “direct attacks” on Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann, his lawyer has told Fox News.

You may remember Nick was attacked by CNN and Democrats for simply wearing a MAGA hat. CNN spun an unvetted story about how ‘racist’ the teen was and liberals ran with it.

Sandmann was falsely accused of being disrespectful to a Native American man who stood in front of him and beat a drum in his face on January 18 while attending The March for Life in Washington, D.C.

A short video clip, which took the exchange out of context, went viral on social media and led to multiple false attacks being launched against the students from lawmakers, media organizations, media figures, and celebrities.

“They really went after Nicholas with the idea that he was part of a mob that was attacking the Black Hebrew Israelites, yelling racist slurs at the Black Hebrew Israelites. Totally false,” Sandmann’s lawyer said.

“CNN was probably more vicious in its direct attacks on Nicholas than The Washington Post. And CNN goes into millions of individuals’ homes,” Lawyer L. Lin Wood told Fox News host.

Sandmann’s lawyers released a list of 54 entities in February that were sent documentation preservation letters for potential lawsuits. That list includes:
