Death Of Reality Star's Newborn Daughter Ruled 'Non-Accidental'
The tragic death of the infant daughter of former 90 Day Fiancé star Leida Margaretha is drawing renewed scrutiny as investigators say early findings point toward abuse, though the case remains under investigation and no criminal charges have yet been filed.
According to multiple reports, officials with the Adams County Health and Human Services Department in Wisconsin determined that the child’s death was “non-accidental.” An initial assessment reviewed by authorities concluded that there is a “preponderance of the evidence to substantiate maltreatment of physical abuse to the infant by the mother,” according to statements provided by Margaretha’s attorney, Taylor Hart.

Despite that preliminary determination, the case is still ongoing. Authorities have not filed criminal charges, and the official cause and manner of death remain pending while investigators wait for the results of a full autopsy.
Margaretha has denied any wrongdoing related to the death of her daughter, Alisa.
The infant was placed on life support before being taken off in July 2025, marking a heartbreaking turn in a case that has since become increasingly complicated by legal investigations and family turmoil.
The reality television personality has also been facing a separate series of serious legal challenges. Court records show that in January 2025 Wisconsin prosecutors charged Margaretha with 24 felony counts tied to alleged financial crimes. Those charges include seven counts of bail jumping, six counts of wire fraud, ten counts of forgery, and one count of stealing between $10,000 and $100,000 from a business. Prosecutors allege the crimes took place between November 2023 and March 2024.
The situation surrounding Margaretha’s personal life has also drawn attention. Her estranged husband, Eric Rosenbrook, the father of the child, was arrested in July 2025 after allegedly slapping Margaretha while intoxicated. At the time of that arrest, Rosenbrook reportedly told authorities that the couple was no longer together.
Margaretha and Rosenbrook first became widely known through TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé, where their relationship drew significant controversy among viewers. Their storyline on the show was marked by frequent conflict and public scrutiny, a dynamic that continued long after their time on television ended.
As investigators continue reviewing evidence in the infant’s death, officials have not indicated when the autopsy results will be finalized or whether criminal charges may eventually follow.
