Dems Rejoice At ‘Worst Crisis In Border Patrol History’
Democrats must be beside themselves at the number of illegal voters they stand to gain with this new wave of illegals flooding the border. Meanwhile, Border Patrol Agents are out-manned and exhausting all efforts to secure the line.
During a radio interview Tuesday, Brandon Judd the National Border Patrol President, stated that they’re facing the ‘worst crisis’ in the agencies history- since it’s a formation in 1924.
According to Daily Wire, when asked about the 20,000 migrants that Mexico warned are presently approaching the border, Judd said there is not much Border Patrol can do.
“We ultimately end up letting them go,” Judd said on WMAL. “They cross the border illegally and then we give them what we call a ‘notice to appear,’ and we release them on their own recognizance and what that means is they promise us that they will return for all of their proceedings, but we know that they never do…They know this, that’s why the numbers are so large.”
“This is the worst crisis we have ever faced in the history of the Border Patrol, and we’re going back to 1924. In my twenty-one year career as a Border Patrol agent, I’ve never seen it like this.”
“It’s never been like this before this is the worst it’s ever been and if we don’t do something, it’s going to continue to get worse.”
Not everyone is in agreeance:
Former Obama administration officials are publicly agreeing with President Trump’s assessment that there is a crisis at the southern border — even as some Democrats downplay the situation and oppose Trump’s declaration of a national emergency.
The latest comments have, in turn, fueled a debate in Washington growing more heated by the day, as the president weighs hardline measures like closing the border. During a conference call Tuesday with reporters, Homeland Security officials declared: “The system is on fire.”
Barack Obama’s top immigration officials seem to agree.
“By anyone’s definition, by any measure, right now we have a crisis at our southern border,” former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said on “Cavuto LIVE” on Saturday, citing recent stats that “there were 4,000 apprehensions in one day alone this past week, and we’re on pace for 100,000 apprehensions on our southern border this month.”
But there is no crisis at the border, right?
