Environmental Laws Are Racists, Biden's Woke EPA Chief Bites The Lefts Side Of The Bullet
Absolutely everything boils down to race with the left, I swear! Never mind the fact that Jackson Mississippi has been warned for decades that its infrastructure was going to fail. Also, let's not talk about the fact that the Democrats in charge have done nothing to repair the issue, despite receiving funds to do so.
NBC Nightly News host Lester Holt and journalist Zinhle Essamuah decided to tackle the issue and place the blam elsewhere. The two talked about "environmental justice" and cited racism in the city for the lack of access to clean water. They mentioned the NAACP and the Biden administration's Environmental Protection Agency as saying racism might be a factor in the disaster.
Jackson, Mississippi's water situation has become a major source of concern for the city and its citizens. The lack of access to safe drinking water has become an important issue, and the NAACP and the Biden administration's Environmental Protection Agency have claimed that racism may be a contributing cause to the situation. On Thursday night's program, NBC News brought attention to the potential role of racism and environmental justice in the water problem.
“The water crisis triggering an NAACP complaint in September alleging racist policies by Governor Tate Reeves and the state of Mississippi claiming federal money was allocated to smaller majority white communities instead of Jackson,” Essamuah hyped in her report.
She then touted how the EPA is crying racism in Mississippi by “investigating if Mississippi violated the Civil Rights Act.”
Turning to EPA administrator Michael Regan, Essamuah outrageously asked why a “city that's over 80 percent black is facing a decades-long water crisis?”
Regan responded that “environmental justice is a serious issue in this country, which is why the President has made it a priority.”
“We know black, brown, tribal communities, low-income communities have seen a lack of investment, but also are on the front lines of the impacts of these lack of investments in climate change,” Regan huffed.
“Climate change” and “environmental justice.” Regan got all of the leftist buzzwords in during this segment with the nodding approval of NBC’s Essamuah.
I particularly like how the two acknowledge that Jackson has been warned for decades while their Democratic leadership sat on their hands.
