Former ICE Director Rakes Media Across The Coals Over 'Fake News' About The Border
The media is swelling up to defend Biden and propping the weirdo-in-chief up ahead of the midterms in order to save Democrats' butts. That's the only thing that could possibly explain why they're reporting positively on Biden's border efforts. Former ICE director, Tom Homan, still has a dog in this fight, and boy, does he have a bone to pick with them. Homan raked the media across the coals, calling them 'fake news' for their deceptive reports.
A majority of Americans, 53%, say they believe what’s happening on the border is an invasion, according to a new NPR/Ipsos poll. Now that we are nearing the midterms Biden has finally made some small moves on immigration, in terms of finishing small sections of the wall. Then he basically developed his own version of DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) and released thousands of unaccompanied minors into the US.
Meanwhile, the news media reports the success of this administration on the border crisis. Former ICE Directory Tom Homan didn't mince his words and called those reports 'fake news' and 'fake stories'. He appeared on Fox and Friends with the numbers to prove it:
Homan exclaimed, "I got a few numbers here. Issues of detainers by ICE for criminals, down 46%. Removing criminal aliens from the country, down 48%. The arrests of criminal aliens, down 63%. And the Center for Immigration Studies gave a number yesterday, which is devastating. In 2020, the last year under Trump, they arrested 65,000. And these are people that are dangerous: drugs, assault, sex, assault, robbery, homicide, kidnappings."
He continued, "They arrested 65,000 of them. Under Biden, they arrested 5,900. So the arrest numbers are down 90%. You add to that ICE releasing 14,000 criminals to the street last year because they were told to by DHS. … ICE has been decapitated. Their numbers are atrocious. They've arrested less people than I've ever seen in the history of this agency."
Biden killed Trump's title 42 earlier this year and it has been a non-stop clown show since. We now rely solely on U.S. border states to slow the overwhelming hoards of illegals answering Biden's call. Those states are struggling while the administration has ignored their cries for help. Some states, like Texas and Arizona, have stepped further into defense mode and are working to force a plan to secure the borders once and for all.
At the end of it all, I think it is a cowardice and a weak move leaving the entire country's security up to a hand full of U.S. states to defend. It's also not fair to those states who aren't on Biden's 'good side' or 'bathing' in his green ($) good graces.
