Former NFL Athlete Deported Following Multiple Arrests and Immigration Ruling
The plan was to let a former star athlete slide. That was the plan.
Instead, the Trump administration sent Daniel Ogama Adongo back to Kenya. He played for the Indianapolis Colts. He also broke the law, again and again. Now he is gone.
This was not a one-time mistake. ICE says Adongo had multiple arrests going back nine years. He faced charges for battery, felony intimidation, and disorderly conduct. He even got a 364-day sentence in 2020 for criminal mischief.
This CRIMINAL and former NFL linebacker has been DEPORTED after he broke our laws.

He played rugby for the Colts from 2013 to 2015. But he stayed after his contract ended. He overstayed his visa in 2016. An immigration judge ordered him out on March 23, 2026. ICE finally removed him on June 20.
Douglas Thompson, the ICE Chicago Assistant Field Office Director, said it plainly. According to him, the community is now safer because this dangerous individual, who was clearly a threat, has been removed.. He further stated that former professional athletes, along with anyone else violating immigration law, are held equally accountable..
Some people might say he was a hero on the field. But what did he do off it? He hurt people. He scared people. He damaged property. The Daily Wire reports that ICE called him a CRIMINAL in a social media post.
The agency stated, "Since this criminal is OUT of our country, Our communities are SAFER now."." That is the truth. We do not need foreign nationals who break our laws to stay here. We need safety. We need order.
Todd Bensman, who served as a former senior adviser to ICE, informed The Daily Wire that 10,000 agents hired and bed space and detention centers had to be rebuilt.. He observed that Congress wouldn't pass the big beautiful budget bill for the first six months.. Now, everything is finally in place.
Since Trump returned to the White House, ICE has deported roughly 706,000 illegal immigrants. That number might seem low to some, but the work is hard. Agents face pressure to find big arrests while waiting for the right time. It is not easy to do both.
