Hamas Leader Comments Raise Concern After Interview
As tensions continue to escalate in the Middle East, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh has called on Palestinian civilians to die in Israel’s recent strikes against Hamas terrorists in Gaza.
During a televised speech on Thursday, Haniyeh accused Israel of committing a “new holocaust” against the people of Gaza and urged all “free people” and “friendly countries” to pressure Israel to end the attacks.
“This brutal aggression must stop. This new holocaust must stop,” Haniyeh stated, referring to Israel’s military strikes in retaliation for a recent terrorist attack by Hamas that killed 1,400 Israelis, wounded more than 5,200 others, and took hundreds hostage.
The terrorist attack, which occurred on October 7, was described as an unprecedented act of violence, with reports of children being beheaded, babies burned alive, and women brutally raped by Hamas terrorists.
Despite these disturbing accounts, Haniyeh called for even more bloodshed, stating that the blood of innocent Palestinian civilians should “awaken within us the revolutionary spirit” and “push us to move forward.”
Hamas, a designated terrorist organization by the United States and other countries, has a long history of using civilians as human shields in its attacks against Israel. The group has also been known to twist and distort the truth to further its own agenda.
IN HIS OWN WORDS: Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh, from the comfort of his home in Qatar: "We need the blood of women, children, and the elderly of #Gaza... so as to awaken our revolutionary spirit."

In the current conflict, Hamas has falsely claimed that Israel bombed a hospital, using the false information to garner sympathy and support from the international community.
However, video evidence from the Israeli Defense Forces has shown Hamas launching rockets from civilian areas and using public buildings as bases for their operations, putting innocent civilians in harm's way.
Meanwhile, Israel maintains that its military actions are necessary for self-defense against the constant barrage of terrorist attacks from Hamas. The country has faced ongoing threats and attacks from Hamas for years and has been forced to take action to protect its citizens.
The world watches on with growing concern as the conflict between Israel and Hamas shows no signs of slowing down. Israel has vowed to continue its efforts to stop terrorists from harming its people while Hamas continues to call for more violence and bloodshed.
The international community must stand together in the fight against terrorism and hold accountable those who use civilians as pawns in their twisted political agendas. Innocent lives on both sides are at stake, and the time for action is now.
