Hillary Clinton Is Still DNC's Best Chance For 2020? Well...
This is not a joke... this is not a drill. Laura Washington over at Chicago Sun-Times seems to believe that Hillary Clinton is the great hope of the Democrat party for the 2020 Presidental run.
I know I said this wasn't a joke and perhaps to Ms. Washington, it's not. For the rest of us, however... you know, WE THE PEOPLE, it truly is just that. Let's take a look a some of the points she's making.
She beat Donald J. Trump last time. At least, by the popular vote.
In my heart of hearts, I still believe that most of the push was voter fraud on some level. Be it illegal immigrants who aren't supposed to vote, or flat out falsifying data. Something about her winning the "popular vote" always seemed out of tune, don't you think?
And we've seen it over and over again for the upcoming midterm elections. Left-leaning organizations and supporters have been caught and/or are being investigated for voter fraud.
“Do you want to run again?” “No, no,” she replied to Kara Swisher, a journalist at Recode, a technology news web site. Swisher pushed. “Well, I’d like to be president,” Clinton said.
So it seems ol' Hillary Clinton still has the Presidental stars in her sights. Which I guess can be a given but it's important to get into the mindset of the writer.
The voters chose her in 2016. And there’s a lot of interest again.
If we take the popular vote at face value, sure... by a thin margin, more people voted for Clinton. But I go back to my original point above... did they really?
In fact, according to a recent article by AJC, there is an honest concern (at least in Georgia) over it.
Many voters say they’re deeply skeptical about the integrity of Georgia’s elections, including concerns about tampering and ineligible voters casting ballots, according to a poll released Thursday by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Channel 2 Action News.
Fears about elections broke along party lines, with Republicans more significantly worried about fraud and Democrats concerned that voters will be turned away or their ballots won’t be counted.
The poll results come amid a heated campaign for governor where voting rights and access have become a critical issue in the race between Democrat Stacey Abrams and Republican Brian Kemp, who is in charge of elections oversight as Georgia’s secretary of state.
And they should be. Democrats seem to be pushing the idea of allowing illegals to vote over recent years. That should concern you.
Clinton remains the best-known and most accomplished potential Democratic candidate in the nation. She and her husband, former president Bill Clinton, bring immense star power.
We didn't elect Donald Trump because of STAR POWER, Laura Washington. No, we elected him because we believed he is the right person for the job at this stage in our country.
And I would like to add to Mrs. Clinton running... WHAT DOES IT MATTER AT THIS POINT!
There is a greater determination than ever, across the nation, to elect the first women president, thanks to Donald Trump and the Me-Too movement.
I thought the Me-Too movement was more-or-less debunked and defunct at this point? Sure, there are a lot of creepers out there but they don't seem to have the same momentum they once had.
Anyway... I think you see my point. Donald Trump has kept many promises and has done great things. He has truly put us on a path of Making America Great Again.
Furthermore, he has new fans and supporters since taking office not quite two years ago and most of us who voted him in once will surely do so again.
