House Report Releases Findings
We’ve got some serious news coming out of Washington, D.C., that’s sure to raise eyebrows and spark debate. A new report from the House Judiciary Committee has revealed that nearly 100 illegal immigrants on the terror watch list have been released into the United States during the Biden administration.
Yes, you heard that right—people flagged as potential threats to national security have been allowed to enter American communities.
The report, first obtained by Fox News Digital, paints a troubling picture of what’s been happening at the southern border. Since the Biden-Harris administration took office, Border Patrol agents have encountered over 250 individuals on the terror watch list between fiscal years 2021 and 2023.
Out of those, at least 99 have been released into the U.S., and another 34 are still in DHS custody but haven’t been removed yet.
Now, if that isn’t enough to make you sit up and take notice, the report also highlights that immigration judges granted bond to at least 27 of these watchlisted migrants who entered the country illegally. And it doesn’t stop there—Border Patrol has encountered tens of thousands of migrants from countries that could present national security risks. We’re talking about places like Afghanistan, China, Iran, Syria, and Uzbekistan.
But here’s where it gets even more concerning: the report mentions nearly 2 million “gotaways”—migrants who’ve evaded Border Patrol since the beginning of the Biden-Harris administration. That means we have no idea how many potential terrorists have slipped through the cracks and entered the U.S. undetected.
The report also dives into the broader context of the southern border crisis, noting a staggering 3,000% increase in encounters with individuals on the terror watch list. To put it simply, the number of potential threats coming through the border has skyrocketed, and that has national security experts on high alert.
The Biden administration has pointed fingers at Republicans, accusing them of not providing enough funding and failing to reform a “broken” system. On the flip side, Republicans argue that the rolling back of Trump-era policies is to blame for this crisis. But regardless of where you stand politically, the fact remains that the situation at the border is a national security concern that can’t be ignored.
Adding to the alarm, DHS recently identified over 400 individuals brought to the U.S. by an ISIS-affiliated smuggling network. These people were from Eastern European and Central Asian countries, and some even made it to major cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia.
