If You Thought Omar Was A Moron Before, Wait Until You See Her Latest Rant
Minnesota's deranged Rep Ilhan Omar [D] broke out her dumbest excuse for Minneapolis's crime spike, yet. Democrats went on a 'defund the police' kick and ran off a chunk of skilled, seasoned, officers. Now, they're dumbfounded that violent crimes are on a rise? You seriously can't make this garbage up.
If they're serious, I have to ask what the heck did they expect?
Omar says she knows who's to blame for all that icky crime that Democrats and liberals ushered in— Cops:
“What we must also recognize is that the reduction in policing currently in our city, and the lawlessness that is happening is due to two things,” Omar claimed. “One, the police have chosen to not fulfill their oath of office and to provide the public safety they are owed to the citizens they serve, right? It’s documented. But even before that, it was documented. The Minneapolis Police Department is the most dysfunctional police department, in our state and probably in the country.”
“The second part is that there has to be accountability,” Omar continued. “And someone that is actually taking responsibility for what the police does invest in to. And that doesn’t exist at this moment. And I do believe that the current charter that we have, that’s tied the hands of those who want to have that accountability because we are mandated to have a specific amount of policing, we are mandated to, you know, have the kind of these union contracts that we have right now. I don’t know any other big city in the state of Minnesota that has the charter that we have, it just doesn’t exist.”

The Minneapolis Police Department updated the Minneapolis City Council with new violent crime statistics Thursday, and the numbers show violent crime — including gun crimes — has continued to rise throughout the first three quarters of 2021.
It's not rocket science. This continual rise has boiled over from the George Floyd riots and subsequential 'defund' movement. It continues to rise thanks to Biden's crippled job market and suffocating economy. Democrats are trying to be willfully ignorant to that fact, in my opinion. What do you think?
