It's Still CNN, Left-Wing Clowns Mocked The Hunter Biden Investigation
Turned over a new leaf? Yeah, right...
CNN's coverage of the vote for Speaker of Congress on Tuesday was appalling. It is clear that Jeff Zucker, the network's former puppetmaster, is still in control as so-called journalists smeared Republicans and downplayed Hunter Biden's corruption scandal.
State of the Union co-host Dana Bash bemoaned how Congress has been held hostage by a “small band” of Republican extremists, while The Lead host Jake Tapper blamed an "ultra-right-wing" MAGA group for not creating a red wave. This rhetoric wasn't just biased - it was dangerous and inaccurate.
The CNN hosts ignored all verified evidence against Hunter Biden which would suggest he had acted corruptly. They also failed to mention Joe Biden's numerous ethical problems during his time as Vice President under Barack Obama, or his family's political connections which have resulted in large financial gains over the years. Instead they mocked those who were investigating these matters and suggested that people don't really care about corruption at all - despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
Instead of acknowledging that investigations of the Biden family’s foreign business operations are only one part of what Republicans of all stripes ran on (along with, among other topics, Afghanistan oversight, China, inflation, and taxes), Tapper constructed a strawman: "I mean, maybe it's true that there are a lot of voters out there who are in these 11 districts who think that the business of Congress is to investigate Hunter Biden. But I don't know that that's a winning formula for House Republicans."
Chris Licht should be taking more steps to ensure this kind of biased reporting does not occur again on his network. It reflects very poorly upon him and his leadership if such blatantly unfair coverage can go unchecked like this—But they're still CNN.
Did anyone really buy the claims that the network had changed and would become a non-bias news-based organization?
