Ivanka Trump Just Made A Big Decision About Her Dad
Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner are reportedly back in the political fold as the former president's popularity once again soars.
Ivanka, 41, and Kushner, 42, pulled back from politics in November last year in order to spend more time with their family. But the dynamic couple has been spotted 'far more frequently' over the summer, according to top campaign strategists.
Trump's eldest daughter made an announcement at the time that she would rather prioritize her children, saying on Instagram: "While I will always love and support my father, going forward, I will do so outside the political arena."
However, many believe that Ivanka and Jared are angling to return to their advisory roles as Trump continues to build momentum with increasing ratings.
As rumors of their renewed involvement began to swirl, Ivanka and Jared were seen at a private event at Trump's Bedminster golf club last month. It appears they have been making more appearances at political networking and campaign events since then.
Commenting on the developments, a top campaign strategist said: "They've been spotted more frequently this summer. They've made it clear they're supportive. They pop into meetings to say hi."
A former Trump official also pointed at Jared's business background as a possible motivation for his return, noting: "Now that the president is 40 points ahead, of course, Jared is pretending he's involved. If he's president again, Jared needs to protect his turf, especially in the Middle East."
While Jared Kushner saw lucrative returns during his time in the White House, he and Ivanka are yet to commit to a more formal role. While their presence accompanies Donald Trump's rise in popularity, it remains to be seen what their involvement will be in the upcoming election.
Ivanka and Jared have both expressed their undying love and support for the 45th President of the United States and are believed to be keeping a watchful eye over the campaign as we inch closer to the 2024 election.
