Jack Osbourne Comments On Trump
Ladies and gentlemen, grab your headphones because the latest episode of "The Osbournes" podcast has everyone talking!
Jack Osbourne, son of the iconic Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, made a surprising political announcement that has left many stunned. Following a recent assassination attempt on former President Trump, Jack declared he’s now voting for Trump in the next election.
During the podcast, the Osbourne family—Ozzy, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack—discussed the tragic events that unfolded at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania on July 13. A gunman, Thomas Crooks, opened fire, tragically killing local firefighter Corey Comperatore and wounding Trump and two others.
Ozzy began by expressing his disbelief at the news, saying, "When I first heard about it, I thought, ‘It’s not real. It’s not for real.’ And thank God the guy was a bad shot." He lamented the loss of life, particularly that of Comperatore. Sharon and Kelly echoed his sentiments, describing the incident as heartbreaking and horrible.
The discussion turned to Trump’s reaction to the shooting. Despite being wounded, Trump reportedly got up and encouraged his supporters to "Fight, fight, fight!"
This defiant response left a significant impression on Jack. He stated, "But I got to say it's probably not going to be a popular statement amongst mainstream, but, like, I'm voting for him after that."
Sharon marveled at Trump's resilience, describing him as "strong as an ox." Jack agreed, explaining that a president should be a leader who can handle any situation. He admired Trump's ability to stand up after being shot and remain composed, saying, "He gets shot in the ear, stands up, raises his fist while they're trying to drag him off the stage. He doesn’t want to leave the stage."
Jack's comments represent a significant shift from his previous stance on Trump. Back in 2015, he criticized Trump on Meghan McCain's radio show for remarks Trump made about her father, the late Senator John McCain. Kelly Osbourne also made controversial comments about Trump during an appearance on "The View" in 2015, which she later regretted.
The Osbourne family's discussion highlighted their shock and concern over the security failures that allowed the shooting to occur. They also reflected on the broader issue of gun violence in America, with Ozzy noting how easy it is to obtain firearms in the country.
