Jimmy Kimmel Jokes About Dead Americans: 'Right-Wing Nuts'
Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel must be starved for ratings because he's back to his 'sock' factor jokes. This time he's gone too far, even for a liberal loon like Kimmel. During his show, Kimmel made fun of Trump supporters and health-conscious influencers who have allegedly died from covid.
“Being president is not a fun job right now. Climate change. Murder hornets. And, of course, the relentlessly maddening fact that Biden has to ask people to take a life-saving vaccine. It's like if we were skydiving and he had to convince us to open our parachutes. It is ridiculous,” he whined before singling out Republicans for not taking the vaccine:
“This is an interesting statistic. Covid deaths have proven to be much higher in states that voted for Trump,” he noted, before insulting Trump voters as stupid hicks:
“Basically, if your state has more GEDs than PhDs, stay indoors. Of the 54,000 Americans who've died from Covid since the start of the Summer, almost 1 in 5 of them died in Florida. Which my God, all those orphan ferrets. It's a shame,” he mocked.
Afterward, Kimmel noted it wasn't just "the right-wing nuts" defying science but also "wellness influencers."

States with the recent worst death and hospitalization rates have been ones won by Donald Trump in 2020 and have aligned with lower numbers of per capita vaccinated citizens. All time, however, six of the worst 10 states for death rates per 100,000 citizens are in ones President Joe Biden won in November, according to The New York Times.
As David Rutz with Fox News pointed out, Kimmel had more sympathy for a lion shot in Zimbabwe than for the death of his fellow Americans. Rutz noted that Kimmel became emotional during his episode with the lion and pleaded with viewers to donate to a wildlife conservation organization.
But dead Republicans? That's funny to Kimmel.
