JK Rowling Blasts Woke Libs In Twitter Rant
The mother of Harry Potter floored liberals in a massive series of tweet on Twitter. Author J.K Rowling has stood her ground with her more liberal fans and declared enough is enough when it comes to the argument about gender and sexuality against women's rights.
Rowling took a page from a playwright by Czechoslovakian President Václav Havel in his 1978 essay The Power of the Powerless to describe the brutal drive for conformity in all things enforced by the communist Soviet Union in his homeland, and elsewhere across the Soviet bloc.
Now, it seems, Havel’s words are being once again used by dissenters, but this time against the modern woke push for conformity in the ostensibly liberal West.
In a Twitter thread responding to a post declaring that the statement “trans women are women” is being used to force biological women into bowing before the woke mob, author J.K. Rowling shared Havel’s parable of a greengrocer who hung up the Marxist creed “Workers of the World Unite” in his shop window in order to passively conform with the groupthink of the Soviet Union.
Rawling was responding to a post from Dr.M, a feminist activist, that read: "It feels like TWAW as a mantra and canceling women over accusations of transphobia was intended to test loyalty over reason and will she stand up to power or at best turn a blind eye to save her own skin. Does she value career advancement or doing the right thing?"
Rowling blasted back in 12 separate tweets that are compiled together for you below:
