KJP Answers Questions About House Subpoenas
The long-awaited subpoenas for members of the Biden family have finally been issued by House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) on Wednesday, including Hunter Biden, James Biden, and Biden family business associate Rob Walker. Along with the Biden family, subpoenas were also sent out to James Biden's wife Sara, Hunter Biden's ex-wife and brother's widow Hallie Biden, her sister Elizabeth Secundy, and Hunter's present wife Melissa Cohen.
This comes after Comer's announcement over the weekend that these subpoenas were imminent and that this week was going to be a "big week." In an interview, Comer detailed how President Joe Biden directly benefitted from the family's influence-peddling scheme.
The timing of these subpoenas has put White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre in a tough spot during the daily press briefing when reporters bombarded her with questions about Biden's stance on the matter. Before quickly fleeing the room, Jean-Pierre attempted to downplay the situation by stating that there has been "zero evidence" of wrongdoing by the President because there is none.
However, this response completely ignores the overwhelming evidence of influence peddling that has been circling around the Biden family. Bank documents and messages have been uncovered, and former Biden family associate Tony Bobulinski's claims have been verified.
Comer has also highlighted the $240,000 in payouts received by Joe Biden, proving that there is indeed evidence of wrongdoing. Despite KJP's claims of "zero evidence," the subpoenas and upcoming investigations will reveal more evidence and potentially shed light on the extent of the Biden family's involvement.
In the interview with Newsmax, Comer stated that everything Bobulinski has said about the Bidens has been verified. This raises even more questions about the family's involvement in shady business dealings and their potential misuse of political influence.
While KJP may try to brush off these questions and avoid addressing them, the subpoenas and evidence cannot be ignored. The American people deserve answers and transparency, especially when it comes to the actions and dealings of their elected officials and their families.
It remains to be seen how the Biden family will respond to these subpoenas and what additional information will come to light. But one thing is clear, the subpoenas have been issued, and the investigations will continue to uncover the truth. As more evidence continues to pile up, it becomes apparent that the Biden family's actions cannot simply be dismissed with claims of "zero evidence." The American public deserves to know the truth, and these subpoenas may just be the first step in getting those answers.
