KJP Snaps At Reporters Over Questions About Biden's Dirty Little 'Cheat Sheet'
Karine Jean-Pierre and Joe Biden have been called out for their questionable behavior during the recent White House press conference. After press photographer caught the president with a printed cheat sheet that included the name and prepared question of a journalist before she had a chance to ask it, several White House reporters questioned Jean-Pierre about what had happened.
Jean-Pierre attempted to spin the situation by claiming that it was “entirely normal” for a president to be briefed on potential questions and that “specific questions” were not preplanned. Her answer didn’t sit well with the reporters, and Daily Caller White HouseCorrespondent Diana Glebova asked about the process for picking the reporters scheduled to ask questions.
While Jean-Pierre was in the middle of her explanation, Gray Television White House reporter Jon Decker attempted to ask a reasonable question, only to be shut down by Jean-Pierre and told to “wait his turn.” This was yet another example of Jean-Pierre and Biden’s disregard for the press and their refusal to be held accountable for their actions.
It’s clear that Jean-Pierre and Biden were attempting to control the narrative and avoid answering difficult questions. It’s concerning that the president and his press secretary are so eager to manipulate the press and deny the American people the truth. This kind of behavior has no place in the White House and is a blatant disregard for the freedom of the press.
The transcript of the exchange between the White House reporters and Jean-Pierre makes it very clear that the press secretary and the president were attempting to manipulate the press. From Jean-Pierre’s dismissive response to Jon Decker’s question to the cheat sheet that was printed out for Biden, it’s obvious that they were trying to control the narrative and avoid answering tough questions.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. The press should be allowed to ask questions and seek out the truth without fear of being silenced or disregarded. Jean-Pierre and Biden need to be held accountable for their actions and must be transparent about their dealings with the press.
