Liberal DA 'Reduced Bail' Crook Now Charged With Murdering Woman In Chinatown
You thought this was going to be in California, right? Nope... It's the OTHER liberal DA turning criminals loose on the streets. New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg has openly made it his mission to clear the jails regardless of the crime with the only exception being murderers. His office refused to prosecute Assamad Nash for multiple armed robberies citing that he wasn't a threat despite the circumstances of the robberies.
Shortly after his release, Nash made his way down to Chinatown where he stalked outside of an apartment building waiting for his next victim. This time it was different, according to charges Nash would murder this victim.
Christina Yuna Lee's body was discovered in her own bathtub. The police reported that Lee had been stabbed to death but that wasn't their only discovery. Nash was found covered in blood hiding under a bed, according to reports.
“This is about the community and our elected officials need to do something much different because this was all avoidable,” Brian Chin, Lee’s landlord, told reporters outside the building, according to Fox 5 N.Y.
Chin specifically criticized Bragg’s policies, arguing Lee’s murder could have been prevented.
“From a landlord’s perspective, from storeowner’s perspective, we’re terrified of this, his policies and what not. Armed robbery of a store is now a petty larceny? What insanity is this?” he said. “This guy, his rap sheet is a mile long, he should have been behind bars. Assault? Menacing? How is he out? This is outrageous.”

Manhattan’s new DA has ordered his prosecutors to stop seeking prison sentences for hordes of criminals and to downgrade felony charges in cases including armed robberies and drug dealing, according to a set of progressive policies made public Tuesday.
In his first memo to staff on Monday, Alvin Bragg said his office “will not seek a carceral sentence” except with homicides and a handful of other cases, including domestic violence felonies, some sex crimes, and public corruption."
I feel like that last bit should have read; "exception if it's Andrew Cuomo"
