Media Watch: Don Lemon's Serving Up Big Fat Biden Whoppers To Gullible Libs
It's no secret that Don Lemon's opinion of President Biden is far from the truth. On Monday's CNN This Morning, Lemon suggested that the "people love him" despite polls showing that 40% of America says things are worse under Biden and only 16% think they are better.
In an effort to back up his statement, Lemon brought in Semafor's Ben Smith who mentioned that "many black Democrats in South Carolina love Biden." That may be true, but it's hardly representative of the entire American population. To further prove his point, Lemon used a poll of one—his own mother—who he described as a "church lady" and who he said "loves Biden."
It's clear that Lemon is trying to paint Biden as an adored figure in the Democratic party. But the facts don't support his argument. A poll that Collins had just shown indicated that only 58% of Democrats wanted someone other than Biden as their 2024 candidate. That's hardly a show of passionate love for Biden.
Lemon's attempt to portray Biden as a beloved figure in the Democratic party is misguided, to say the least. The evidence simply doesn't support his argument. It seems that the media elites have a deep-seated love for Obama, but the people are far less passionate about Biden. The poll that Collins had just shown indicated that a majority of Democrats wanted someone other than Biden as their 2024 candidate.
It's obvious that Lemon is trying to spin the facts in order to make Biden look good. But the truth is that the people aren't as passionate about Biden as Lemon would have us believe. The polls speak for themselves, and it's clear that the majority of Americans don't have a great opinion of Biden.
At the end of the day, it's important to remember that the media can be a powerful tool in shaping public opinion. But it's equally important to remember that the media can also be used to manipulate the truth and mislead people. Don Lemon's statements about Biden's popularity are a prime example of this manipulation. While he may be trying to put a positive spin on the situation, his statements don't reflect reality.
