Megan Fox Makes Shocking Admission
Megan Fox is opening up about her struggles with body dysmorphia and self-love. The 36-year-old actress recently posed for Sports Illustrated’s famed swimsuit issue and in an interview with the outlet, she revealed that she has never loved her body.
“I have body dysmorphia,” Fox said. “There is never a point in my life where I loved my body, ever ever.” She went on to explain that her struggles with her body image began at a young age, despite growing up in a religious environment where bodies weren’t acknowledged.
Fox has been in Hollywood since she was 16 years old and what she is dealing with now is a result of her life.
Fox also discussed the pressure she felt when shooting for the SI swimsuit issue. “I have a vision in my head that I’m trying to achieve, so we’ll see if it pans out for me.” Despite the pressure, Fox expressed her hope that people will recognize her for her “aura” and not her figure.

Sadly, Fox's confession is a result of what Hollywood life can do to a person.
The 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is making headlines for its diverse casting, featuring 81-year-old Martha Stewart, the oldest model in the issue, and Kim Petras, a biological male who identifies as a transgender woman. Editor-in-Chief MJ Day said that the goal of the issue is to “evoke captivating and thought-provoking conversations.”
“While the industry wavers on its arbitrary notion of beauty, our issue has stayed the course, showcasing the women of today, the women shaping the future. This year, we’re featuring an extremely diverse group of women starting with our cover models, who are collectively the most unapologetic women from different walks of life who continue to forge their own paths on their own terms.”
