Model Comes Out As Trans After Making Anti-Trans Comments, Then Things Get Weird
This story is stranger than fiction but with the push to force everyone to accept things beyond their own beliefs, or facts even, we could see more situations like this. A young model jumped on Facebook to share what essentially is the Truth- ‘Being trans does not make you a woman’.
Carissa Pinkston, 20, came out last week as transgender after she caused controversy over statements she shared on Facebook suggesting transgender women were not women.
“Being Transgender does NOT make you a woman. It makes you simply Transgender,” the model wrote in May.
But in this day and age, the truth matters to no one. Of course, she received threats but rather than back down she doubled down by calling on science.
“This is how they want to be perceived. In a biological context, there are Females and Males. This is the world in 2019.”
After she was ridiculed and subsequently fired from her agency, Pinkston took to social media again to explain that her comments stemmed from her own “inner insecurities” as a transgender.
“I wasn’t ready to come out about it yet, but today I got fired and I’ve been receiving hate mail and death threats ever since, so I’m being forced to tell the truth. I’m Transgender,” Pinkston wrote.
“I transitioned at a very young age and I’ve lived my Life as a Female ever since. It’s been very hard to keep this secret but what I said about Trans-Women is a direct reflection of my inner insecurities and I have since come to realize that I am a Woman…WE ALL ARE!
The internet didn’t buy it and called the model out. She later admitted that she was just trying to make things better. After all, her comments landed her unemployed and on the receiving end of hate mail and death threats.
“I apologize for any transphobic remark I’ve ever made towards the trans community,” she said in the post. “I thought if I came out as trans that I could somehow make things better for myself but it appears I’ve only made things worse.”
Then she deleted her Instagram account altogether.
She said in an interview with Buzzfeed about the whole mess that she “felt” transgender because she was bullied.
“I definitely feel like a trans person in a way,” she said, “in high school, I was really bullied.”
She explained that she falsely claimed to be transgender because she was receiving death threats.
“Everyone was saying my original comment was transphobic,” she explained helpfully, “but you can’t expect everyone to know everything about a culture or movement if they never have taken the time to be fully educated on it.”
I’m not condoning her strange behavior, what so ever. [email protected] she did was pretty crazy but I can see how this over-aggressive bullying liberals use to push others to conform might cause someone to do some pretty crazy things.
The left’s push to destroy all signs of individuality is a very real issue and I expect to see more forms of ‘panic’ from people in the public’s eye who dare to stand out and refuse to conform. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
