MSNBC Claimed Voters Got It Wrong, Blames Trump And The GOP For Dem's Spending Problems
MSNBC wingnuts were on a kick this week blaming the GOP and former president Donald Trump for the insane spending Democrats have been doing. In a 4-person panel that included failed Democrat, Claire McCaskill, they argued that the voters have it wrong—This is all Trump and the GOP's spending, not the Democrats.
Basically, they called voters stupid...
Stephanie Ruhle complained, "when you talk to the American people, they've been conditioned to believe it's Democrats, they're the ones who overspend, they are the ones who don't know how to handle money, watch this. "
On the show was a failed Democrat I almost forgot existed, Claire McCaskill, of course, chimed in on queue to blame former President Donald Trump:
"Under Donald Trump, we had record debt and deficits. I sat on the floor of the Senate, and watched Republicans vote, big spending bill after big spending bill. You know, I remember Mike Lee, who is in a race for his life out in Utah. I remember in 2010, the Tea Party, remember that? It was all about government spending. Well, Mike Lee, tomorrow would be a good day for you to stand up to government spending. Tomorrow would be a great day for you to say, “I'm not gonna put up with the government being overcharged by anyone.” And I will wait to see if he does that, I'm betting he won't, because they only care about spending, when they're the ones not doing it. "

RUHLE: So, let's get this straight, Claire. Republicans have a huge problem with what they say are Democrats overspending, but they're a-okay with a president ripping us off.
CLAIRE MCCASKILL: Well, worse than that, Stephanie, under Donald Trump, we had record debt and deficits.
RUHLE: Please don’t hold your breath Clair, we care too much about you.
