OMG Look At This Thing! Dem's Try To Force Last Minute 4,100-Page Spending Plan
Scandalous! Democrats are trying to push through a massive spending bill and offering lawmakers zero time to read it. They're using the threat of a possible government shutdown to pass through their bloated bill that is stuffed with woke spending earmarks.
Yesterday, the Senate Majority Leader, Chuck Schumer, was confronted with questions from the press concerning the recently proposed omnibus spending bill. Coming in at an immense $1.66 trillion, the bill encompasses 4,155 pages and includes money for various non-governmental organizations, Ukraine, and a Planned Parenthood clinic. It is expected to be voted on in the Senate tonight.
When asked if he was confident with the bill and if he had enough time to read it all, Schumer said that he hadn’t finished reading it but was sure it was an extensive piece of legislation that would fulfill the desires of the U.S. population. He went on to say that he believed it was a good starting point for further conversations.
Given the bill's immense length and the short amount of time the Senators had to review it, the Senate Majority Leader's comments have raised eyebrows from both political parties.
“How is it functional process to drop a 4,100 page bill this morning and expect a vote on it tomorrow?” a reporter asked. “Most of Congress hasn’t had a chance to review this.”
“The bill has been carefully worked on by the appropriations committee for a very, very long time. Most of the provisions were well known weeks and weeks in advance. Getting this bill done for the American people, which really matters, is the most important thing.”

The media giants are already demonizing lawmakers for questioning the bill and accusing them of wanting to cause a government shutdown.
