Osama bin Laden’s son marries daughter of 9/11 hijacker, family confirms
The son of Osama bin Laden, Hamza bin Laden, has officially married the daughter of one of the lead hijackers responsible for the devasting 9/11 attack on America.
Osama’s half-brothers confirmed the marriage during an interview with The Guardian, believing that Hamza has advanced in position within the terrorist organization. They also believe that he has plans to avenge his father’s death.
Osama bin Laden, if you will recall, was taken out during a U.S. military raid in 2011.
“We have heard he has married the daughter of Mohammed Atta. We’re not sure where he is, but it could be Afghanistan,” Ahmad al-Attas said.
Hassan al-Attas has suggested that Hamza should not retaking the steps of his father.
“When we thought everyone was over this, next thing I knew was Hamza saying ‘I am going to avenge my father.’ I don’t want to go through that again. If Hamza was in front of me now, I would tell him: God guide you. Think twice about what you are doing. Don’t retake the steps of your father. You are entering really negative and horrible parts of your soul,” Hassan al-Attas said.
Osama bin Laden’s wives and surviving children were given refuge in Saudi Arabia by the former crown prince Mohammed bin Nayef. They remain in close contact with bin Laden’s 84-year-old mother, Alia Ghanem.
Hamza bin Laden was designated a global terrorist in January 2017 by the U.S. government. Some reports have suggested that he has traveled to Syria, but some experts also think that he could be moving between Afghanistan and Pakistan as he attempts to build support in the tribal territories of those countries.
This needs to be dealt with swiftly and without hesitation, if these reports are true.
