Pelosi Gets A Big Head: 'It's My Right As Speaker' To Seat Or Unseat Republicans [Video]
Wow! House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has a big head on her now that Biden is in office. The power-hungry California Democrat joined White House Press Secretary Friday defending their consideration to overturn Iowa's congressional election. during a press conference, Pelosi scowed that it was her 'right' as the Speaker to seat or unseat members of congress
House Democrats are intervening in an election in which Rep. Mariannette Jane Miller-Meeks, R-Iowa, defeated Democratic opponent Rita Hart by just six votes. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Psaki argue congressional Democrats have the authority to review Hart's loss and potentially unseat Miller-Meeks even after Iowa certified her win.
Democrats are following the necessary process "to ensure that every vote is counted," Psaki said during a presser today. Her remarks come a day after Pelosi told reporters it is her "right" not to seat Miller-Meeks.
Just to be clear, pushing to overturn any election would be a direct violation of the US Constitution. Even for the madam Speaker...
“I wanted to be fair. If I wanted to be unfair, I wouldn’t have seated the Republican from Iowa because that was my right on the opening day. I would have just said, ‘You’re not seated.’ And that would have been my right as Speaker to do,” said Pelosi.
Back in December, Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.) is asking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to refuse to seat members of the next Congress who back President Trump’s effort to challenge the election.
"Today I’m calling on House leaders to refuse to seat any Members trying to overturn the election and make donald trump an unelected dictator," Pascrell wrote.

Pelosi pathetically touted her 'moral backbone' for having not overturned an election previous with her rant about 'being fair'. It's not morals that govern Pelosi, but the law. If she dares to try, Republicans will rip her to shreds and the queen of slur knows it.
Pelosi, like all officials, is susceptible to impeachment. Trying to overturn an election would be an abuse of power- to say the least!
Democrats are losing seats. In 2020 they lost their majority to 222 members. The result of last year's election left Republicans with 212 seats, potentially putting a crimp in President Joe Biden's legislative agenda. Though they currently hold the majority, they will quickly lose the power they wield in the midterm election in 2022.
