Protest Continue Outside Facility
Another weekend in Portland, another scene of chaos outside a federal facility — and another moment when law enforcement looked the other way.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, clashes erupted once again outside Portland’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility, where black-clad protesters and conservative activists brawled in the street as ICE agents deployed rubber bullets and smoke grenades to break up the violence. Several individuals were reportedly injured, but remarkably — or perhaps predictably — not a single arrest was made by the Portland Police Bureau.
After thousands of dollars of property damage & more assaults and death threats than I can count over the last several months while covering the DOMESTIC TERRORIST GROUP ANTIFA in Portland and these terrorists facing ZERO REPERCUSSIONS, I AM DONE.

Independent journalist Cam Higby, who was present and claimed to be assaulted during the melee, shared video footage on X, documenting a confrontation that spiraled into yet another lawless night in a city that has become synonymous with unrest.
While the Portland Police stated they “did not observe any person or property crimes that warranted interdiction,” many eyewitnesses and journalists sharply disagreed. Critics argue this hands-off approach has become a pattern, not an anomaly.
This latest clash isn’t isolated. It’s part of a prolonged and well-documented stretch of violence in the city that’s extended back several years, punctuated by fireworks, physical assaults, vandalism, and nightly standoffs with federal authorities. Despite federal calls for action — including a push by the Trump administration to deploy the National Guard — a federal restraining order remains in place, preventing such intervention.
But beneath the surface of this ongoing turmoil lies a deeper, more troubling narrative. Investigations by the Government Accountability Institute (GAI) suggest that the unrest in Portland and similar demonstrations across the country aren’t just impromptu outbursts of anger — they’re coordinated, financed, and deliberately fueled.

GAI Director of Research Seamus Bruner recently alleged that funding for this sustained unrest flows from a network of powerful entities: from George Soros’s Open Society Foundation to the lesser-known Arabella and Tides funding networks, and even international figures like Neville Roy Singham. Singham, a software billionaire with known ties to the Chinese Communist Party and its propaganda outlets, has been named in both New York Times and GAI reports as playing a role in backing movements that intersect with radical left-wing activism.
These findings add weight to recent statements from FBI Director Kash Patel, who told Just the News that federal authorities are “on the verge” of exposing the funding and leadership structures of violent groups like Antifa.
Meanwhile, Harmeet Dhillon, the DOJ’s top civil rights attorney, leveled sharp criticism at Portland police, accusing them of shielding Antifa members. A viral video appeared to show rioters using city police as human shields to avoid non-lethal munitions fired by federal agents protecting the ICE facility — a snapshot that, for critics, perfectly encapsulates Portland’s current state of dysfunction.
