Russian Gymnast Loses To Ukraine, Then Does This
Apparently being a sore loser is contagious in Russia as gymnast Ivan Kuliak would prove during the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Qatar over the weekend. Kuliak lost to the Ukrainian Illia Kovtun who received gold during the competition. A salty Kuliak, who still won bronze, decided to wear a pro-invasion symbol instead of his medal.
Kuliak (seen in the photo below) worse a 'Z' around his neck in support of Russia's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. Last week, two-time Olympic champion Svetlana Khorkina also shared the ‘Z’ symbol online, writing: “A campaign for those who are not ashamed to be Russian. Let’s spread it", according to Yahoo Sports.
For obvious reasons, some are calling for Russians to be banned from the Olympics until they halt their attack in Ukraine.
