Sarah Huckabee Sanders Puts The Smack Down On Senate Democrats
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was basically bombarded with questions by the press asking her about the government shutdown.
That’s when she decided to let them have it.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders slammed them had this to say,
“We will do whatever we need to do and whatever we can do to help the process. At this point, it’s up to the Senate,” Sanders said during an appearance on “FOX & Friends.”
“One thing that I think has been missed and didn’t get a lot of coverage yesterday was what we have worked out, what this administration has been able to do in conjunction with the Mexican government and the massive and monumental moment that took place yesterday where catch-and-release has ended,” Sanders continued.
“It’s a sad day in America when Mexican government is doing more to protect the American people than Senate Democrats,” Sanders added. “I hope they will not let that be the case by the end of the day and they will work with us and work with the president and Senate Republicans to get this done and let everybody go home and let us start building the wall and let us start protecting our border.”
You can check out Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ remarks below:
It’s such a petty thing for Democrats to reject the bill. In all honesty, it is a very small amount in the grand scheme of things. Especially, in light that illegal immigration cost the United States around $200 Billion per year. What is another $3.4 Billion to secure out border and protect our citizens?
That’s the thing, Democrats…do…not…care.
They care about votes and staying in office. They know that if they start keeping illegal immigrants from entering the U.S., they’re going to lose those future votes which will keep them in office. They rely on these dirty tactics to remain in office.
