Just Mitt Romney, Being A Raging POS As Usual Votes To Continue...
I can't believe the GOP has not outed this waste of space but here we are, with Mitt still playing for the otherside. This time, he's defied all logic (and science) and was the only Republican who voted to keep mask mandates.
DailyWire reported:
"In the latest of several steps he has taken to set himself apart from the majority of the Republican Party, Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) voted against lifting a mask mandate for children as young as two who take part in the nation’s Head Start program.
The Biden administration requires “universal masking for all individuals two years of age and older” participating in the government-run preschool program. It also requires all employees, contractors, and volunteers who come into contact with children receive the COVID-19 vaccine."
An amendment offered by Sen. Mike Braun (R-IN) to the PREVENT Pandemics Act would “prevent HHS from implementing or enforcing their regulations regarding mask or vaccination protections in the Head Start program again.”

Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, a Democrat, expressed his opposition to the bill, saying it would not stop at taking down the current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) order but also prevent future decrees.
Kaine also pointed to the rising cases in China and some parts of Europe while hypothesizing about another surge in the U.S.
Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky led the repeal effort, saying the successful passage of the bill "sent a message to unelected government bureaucrats to stop the anti-science, nanny state requirement of travel mask mandates."
The vote did not clear the two-thirds veto-proof majority number, meaning the president’s veto will likely stick. The White House said, "circumstances under which masks should be required in these settings should be guided by science, not politics."
This was just a normal Tuesday for Romney who somehow manages to keep his 'Republican' title when he's clearly a plant.
