Sen Blackburn Uncovers Insane Statistic About Afghans In US

The incompetence of Biden's Afghan-evacuation plan continues to reveal itself as Republicans are given the opportunity to ask the questions we all need to know.

While this administration likes to tout that the ec=vacuation was a huge success, most of us remember that there are still Americans trapped in Afghanistan— Abandoned by Biden.

Senator Marsh Blackburn uncovered the ugly reality that only 3% of the Afghan's evacuated to the US actually have visas:

“[Y]ou have people bringing in — these men that are bringing in child brides. We have heard of these assault cases. We know that that indictment has been issued. We know the investigation is taking place on the attack on our female servicemember, and these are individuals who have not been vetted. There is a very specific vetting process for our special immigrant visa holders. But look, out of the people that they got out, that they were bragging about this as an extraordinary success, only 3% were visa holders, 3%. … And now, they’re trying to vet them on the back end.”

She added, “You cannot call 1-800 Taliban and find out if somebody is who they claim to be. Because your government institutions, your processes are basically nonexistent in Afghanistan. Because the Taliban’s a terrorist group.”

So Biden's claim that everyone brought back from Afghanistan has been vetted was just another huge lie. As I previously reported, two Afghan refugees now await trial, here in the US, on federal crimes. One is accused of attempted rape against multiple minors. Blackburn is right. We have no way of knowing the intentions of anyone brought in by Biden. If this hearing has shown us anything, it's that the administration was not prepared to lead and continues to make dangerous, and potentially deadly, decisions.
