Shocking: Greta Thunberg Stumped When Asked To Name One Simple Thing [Video]
I hope 'shocking' read as sarcastic as I meant it because it's not shocking at all that a teenager is unable to name political or global policies. Which is what she was asked to do and yet another reason Democrats need to reconsider their crazy plight to push the voting age down to 16 years old. If anything, we need to move the voting can be left up to a more informed and mature population- but that's an argument for a different day.
This is about the so-called climate change enthusiast and liberal mascot, Thunberg being pressed to name a single climate-related policy she would recommend the Biden administration focus on. When pressed, the teen couldn't name a single one but she did deflect the issue like a budding politician.
Thunberg said that Biden and the US have not been doing enough to fight climate change but couldn't offer any advice on what else should be done. The young teen just kept repeating 'treat it like a crisis'.
"That's not me saying that, that's just black and white, looking at the facts," Thunberg claimed.
MSNBC's host Hasan tried to squeeze more information out of her but as the saying goes; 'you can't get blood from a turnip.
"Is there a specific policy, or if he rang you up and said, 'Greta, what should I do? I can wave a presidential magic wand executively. What should I do that I'm not?' What would you say to him?" Hasan asked.
Again, Thunberg couldn't name a single policy, and apparently, she doesn't pay attention to American politics:
"Well, nothing, because that's not democratic. I mean, an elected leader cannot do anything without support from voters, and I would not want anyone to do anything that would not have the support because that would be undemocratic, and democracy is the most precious thing that we have and we must not risk that," she said. "So, what we need now is to raise awareness and create public opinion to treat the crisis like a crisis."
“I would just like [Biden] to treat the climate crisis like a crisis,” @GretaThunberg tells me on the @MehdiHasanShow on @MSNBC. Politicians “have said themselves that this is an existential threat & they’d better treat it accordingly, which they are not.”pic.twitter.com/KcodO6GEvv
