Shocking Revelation: Biden's Team Telling Advisor to Stay Quiet
Leading Democratic strategist James Carville has revealed that prominent members within the party have been urging him to stay quiet about President Joe Biden's re-election prospects for 2024. In an interview with The Atlantic, Carville discussed his belief that Biden is facing an uphill battle in securing a second term in office.
According to Carville, Biden's numbers are "not good" and even fellow Democrats are expressing concern. "When I tell Democratic leaders that Biden is in trouble, they don't disagree with me. They just tell me to keep it to myself," he said. "Nobody is saying 'James, you're wrong.' They're saying 'James, you can't say that.'"
Carville also spoke about his conversations with other Democratic leaders, claiming that they too are seeing a decline in Biden's popularity. "I talk to a lot of people who do congressional-level polling and state polling, and they're all saying the same thing. There's not an outlier, there's not another opinion," he said. "The question is, has the country made up its mind?"

One of the main concerns that Carville has pointed out is the dismal voter turnout among the Black community since the 2020 election. He believes that this trend, along with other factors, could spell trouble for Biden in the upcoming election.
Congressman Dean Phillips (D-Minn.) is one of the few Democrats who has spoken out about his concerns for Biden's re-election. Phillips, who is running for Biden's position in the primary, told The Atlantic, "My grave concern is that I just don't think President Biden will beat Donald Trump next November."
However, other members of the Democratic Party, including Jim Messina, former campaign manager for Barack Obama's 2012 campaign, have tried to reassure others within the party. Messina believes that Biden, being the only one who has defeated Trump in an election before, is the best candidate to do it again.
JAMES CARVILLE WARNS DEMOCRATS

But Carville isn't convinced, stating that the Biden administration operates with a false sense of confidence. He also criticized the party for ignoring red flags and not speaking up about potential challenges Biden may face in the future.
Phillips has faced backlash from both Democrats and left-leaning organizations for challenging Biden. Cedric Richmond, co-chair of Biden's campaign, called Phillips' effort "a vanity project." The Lincoln Project, a scandal-ridden anti-Trump PAC, also criticized Phillips, accusing him of "running a quixotic ego-boosting crusade" that will only weaken Biden's chances in the general election.
Biden's campaign and the White House have not yet responded to requests for comment on Carville's claims and Phillips' campaign.
Despite the criticism, Phillips remains determined to continue his campaign, saying, "I'm just so frustrated - I'm growing appalled by the silence from people whose job it is to be loud."
As the 2024 election draws closer, it remains to be seen whether Biden's declining numbers and potential challenges will become a bigger concern for the Democratic Party. Carville's revelations about party leaders' attempts to silence him and Phillips' campaign suggest that there may be some discord within the party. Only time will tell if this will have an impact on Biden's re-election bid.
