SICK! Biden To Punish Low Income Children For LBGTQ Agenda
Now what? American families are facing 1 40-year- high inflation crisis, crippling gas prices, and drug costs that are out of control. In the midst of all of that, Biden wants to take away free lunch for low-income children at public schools who don't comply with the LBGTQ agenda?
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food and Nutrition Service announced in May it will prevent low-income students from participating in its National School Lunch Program if their public school does not adopt the administration's interpretation of Title IX, which holds that the federal civil rights law's provision against discrimination based on sex includes designations of sexual orientation and gender identity. The move was originally reported by The Center Square.
Critics of the administration's decision said it could unnecessarily harm disadvantaged students. Christian K-12 schools that participate in the NSLP can apply for a religious exemption, but public and nonreligious private schools must follow the new rules or lose their funding.
"All people should be treated with dignity and respect, but it's wrong for the federal government to take away free meals from economically disadvantaged students if their schools do not embrace radical gender ideology," Greg Baylor, a senior counsel at the Alliance Defending Freedom, told the Washington Free Beacon.
Former Obama Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta said Thursday that President Biden should take cues from Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and admit he was wrong on inflation being transitory to regain credibility.
During an interview on "Your World," Panetta told host Neil Cavuto there's "no question" the administration failed to establish a strategy to combat the rising inflation threat because it underestimated just how prolonged America’s suffering would be.
"I'm always a believer that the truth is the best policy when it comes to being President of the United States," Panetta said. "I think the president, it probably would be helpful if he acknowledged that he made a mistake along with the treasury secretary and the other economists, but that he is now going to take steps to try to deal with it."
But he would never admit he was wrong, would he?
No. Instead of dealing with real pressing issues, this administration plans to starve out the nation's most vulnerable children to make a political point.
