Shameless Trudeau Doubles Down Attack On Freedom Convoy Protesters
Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudaeu is desperate to sway public opinion against the peaceful protesters. Trudaeu mocked the protesters just before a SUV plunged into the demostration, injuring 4 people. Police have yet to call the attack anything other than a ' hit and run accident' but most find it hard to believe it was anything other than a attack.
Trudaeu was already in it deep with the public. Rather than show a house of remorse or empathy for the injured protesters, he's back at demonizing the group. This time he insinuated that the protesters, not the mandates, are the ones preventing Canadia from retuning to normal.
He then took it a step farther by trying to paint the protesters as racists nazis:
“Individuals are trying to blockade our economy, our democracy, and our fellow citizens’ daily lives. It has to stop. The people of Ottawa don’t deserve to be harassed in their own neighborhoods. They don’t deserve to be confronted with the inherent violence of a swastika flying on a street corner, or a Confederate flag, or the insults and jeers just because they’re wearing a mask. That’s not who Canada — Canadians are. That’s not what Canadians demonstrated over the past two years, of consistently, continually being there for each other. The people of Ottawa, indeed, people across the country, deserve to have their safety respected and deserve to get their lives back.,” Trudeau said.
He continued, “This is a story of a country that got through this pandemic by being united, and a few people shouting and waving swastikas does not define who Canadians are.”
Does anyone else remember the videos that were all over online of Canadian homes being raided during the holidays because they decided to have family over? United in what? Fear?
“This pandemic has sucked for all Canadians,’ the prime minister said. ‘Everyone’s tired of COVID, but these protests are not the way to get through it,” he added.
Police they haven’t released the SUV driver's name, but did announce that they’ve charged the 42-year-old male with a number of crimes that seem to suggest that his actions were intentional. The charges filed thus far are four counts of Assault with Weapon, two counts of Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance Cause Bodily Harm, two counts of Fail to Stop After Accident Knowing That Reckless, two counts of Fail to Stop at Scene of Accident, and one count of Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance.
