Trump Officials Responds To SCOTUS Ruling
The Supreme Court’s 5-4 ruling to uphold President Trump’s use of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act isn’t just a green light for deporting dangerous foreign nationals — it’s a shot across the bow of activist judges and the radical legal networks that prop them up.
On Monday night, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller didn’t mince words on Hannity. He called the ruling a “notice” to “crazy left judges” who’ve become the go-to weapons for leftist operatives intent on sabotaging presidential authority through the courts. At the heart of the matter: the deportation of over 200 alleged members of Tren de Aragua (TdA), a Venezuelan criminal organization with known links to terrorism and transnational violence.
Miller reminded viewers that the illegal aliens in question weren’t just undocumented — they were part of a designated foreign threat. Yet somehow, their legal team dragged the case from Texas all the way to Washington, D.C., a venue with zero connection to the facts at hand.
Why? Because, as Miller put it plainly, the radical left “forum shops” — desperately hunting for sympathetic judges who’ll issue nationwide injunctions that grind immigration enforcement to a halt.

The Supreme Court wasn’t having it. Their order not only cleared the way for Trump’s policy to proceed, but also rebuked Judge James Boasberg, who tried to block deportations even though the migrants were never in his jurisdiction. The Court’s message was clear: judicial activism stops here.
According to the ruling, those detained must now be given proper notice under the AEA “within a reasonable time,” but the justices made no move to halt the removals already in progress. That’s a win — not just for the Trump administration, but for the constitutional separation of powers.
And if there was any doubt about the stakes, Miller laid it bare: “President Trump is fighting back against lawfare… and we’re going to protect the powers of the president, and we’re going to protect the people of this country.” This wasn’t just about immigration policy. This was about reining in an unelected judicial class that believes it can overrule the will of the executive branch with a pen and a gavel.
Adding to the momentum, Chief Justice John Roberts issued a separate order halting an effort to force the administration to return an alleged MS-13 gang member mistakenly deported to El Salvador. Judge Paula Xinis had demanded the individual’s return by Monday, but Roberts stepped in, putting that order on ice while further proceedings unfold.
