Update: GOP Shooting Victim Discovered To Have Ties to Hillary
Details are still unfolding as police investigate the second GOP State Senator to be found dead in two days
A former Republican Oklahoma state senator was found dead with a gunshot wound in his home Wednesday, the second former GOP state lawmaker found shot in as many days.
Former Oklahoma state Sen. Jonathan Nichols, 53, was found dead inside his home in Norman on Wednesday night from an apparent gunshot wound, police said. Cops are working with the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
His death comes just one day after former Arkansas state Sen. Linda Collins-Smith, 56, was found fatally shot outside her home in Pocahontas on Tuesday. Police are investigating her death as a homicide.
Collins-Smith’s former press secretary, Ken Yang, told Little Rock ABC affiliate KATV that she was found shot to death inside her home and her body was wrapped in some sort of blanket. Neighbors apparently reported hearing gunshots a day or two before her body was discovered.
Collins-Smith, who ran for reelection last year but was defeated in the Republican Party primary, was “someone who truly cared about Arkansas, truly cared about her district,” according to Yang.
Linda Collins-Smith was reportedly asking about millions missing from Arkansas DHS. According to a watchdog group, she was working with DHS insider to expose the missing $27M from DHS/Child Protective Services.
The group claims that these funds are being placed into trade, and the dividends are being filtered back to the Clinton Foundation or owned shell companies, belonging to the Clinton Foundation. The missing $27M was discovered when it was revealed that that DHS in Arkansas reportedly had two separate sets of books.
We are still working to locate the watchdog group’s source for this new information. If true it could lead investigators right to the Clinton’s or associates.
According to the website ArkansasFreedom.com, that purports to expose corruption in the Arkansas state government, Collins-Smith was an anomaly (for her honesty) in the state government once run by Bill and Hillary:
As a sidebar, in all probability there are only 5 bonafide elected officials in the Ark. General Assembly who cannot be purchased: Senator Bryan King & Rep. Josh Miller probably the only 2 Constitutionalists, and there are 3 others who are very close, Senators Linda Collins-Smith, Terry Rice & Rep. Dan Sullivan
Both Oklahoma and Arkansas have recently joined the fight against abortion over the last year, which some speculate could be relative to the investigation into the murders.
According to Fox News Nichols is the second former GOP state lawmaker to be found dead this week. On Tuesday, former Arkansas state Sen. Linda Collins-Smith, 57, was reportedly found dead outside her home in Pocahontas, about 130 miles northeast of the state capital, Little Rock.
Her former press secretary told local news media the Democrat-turned-Republican was found shot to death and wrapped in a blanket. Police are investigating the death as a homicide.
Collins-Smith represented the 19th district in Arkansas from 2014 until 2019. She lost her party’s primary last year.
Both Senator’s found shot dead in their homes just two days apart is concerning, to say the least, but these stories are still unfolding. We will continue to follow these stories as investigators piece together what happened.
